I do saaaaaaaay when something happens in my LIFE that is recordable, memorable, funny, or unbelievable that I need to blog.My kids pretty much say it before I can get the words out of my mouth.
Well, today's events pushed me to that moment in time where not only did I say, "I need to blog it", I AM blogging it!! I honestly have trouble believing myself some of the thing that LIFE can roll at ya.So why not face them with a woohoo, smile, and a blog.Plus, I would love my Mom to see what's up in my life.I will always be a Momma's girl and I am proud of it!
My blogs will not be long as I take forever to write as I do not have the writing swagger as so many blogs do out there.Just some "Daily Drama with the Barnett's", updates or random thoughts!
OK, I hear John in my head saying "The point is????? So, here is today, I mean this afternoon's worth blogging moments or yesterday..."Yes, bud, the point":
*All events occurred after 3:00pm yesterday!
*Have you ever gone to Outback with your two older kiddos for some special cheese fries, AFTER you eat, you notice your wallet is not in your large Africa purse? AND my family/friends wonder why I don't like to carry a purse. Well, it happened to us! Oh, and if you are wondering, you can have someone call in your bank card info and they will ring it up that way. Sheeeeeew!". GOT OUT of it without having to do the dishes! Thanks to Bud (John) for meeting his older girls with my wallet so we could continue our big girls out!
*Have you ever tried to pull into a parking lot to turn around when it's dark only to find out AFTER you pull in the drive is roped off? My 4runner couldn't even fit to make a u turn as I was going the wrong way (surprise surprise) to pick up girls from Briana's Greek God's play. I carefully start to rock back and forth to try and turn my silver beast of a SUV around. I hear my big tires spitting these huge rocks out. You are following me aren't you? I understand the tied off rope now as my tires are spinning deeper and deeper. I am so stuck! Wait, as I am self talking to myself...my beast is called a 4x4...so I sit up a little taller and get my coolness back, throw it into 4 wheel drive.I still have to rock it back and forth a few times and as soon as I have plethora of room, I peal out with the baddest sound I tell ya and GOT OUT of there!!! Let's just say I am not going to that place of business in case they wanna match my tire ruts.
*Things happen in 3's right? Well, I am sure there might have been some minor things I missed, but I am getting sleepy, hands get cold when I type too long, and I need to go to bed as shoot fire it is gonna be early church soon. So big girls and I have a blast at the movies, we are jamming to the radio, and playing our own version of song pop. We had to go to the light bright theatre which if you live in Nashville, you know exactly which theatre as we missed the Franklin show due to my spin out. I get almost home to Thompsons Station stoplight, and I see 3 police cars with their own drama. I slow down and try to be Mariska from Law and Order and check it out. Seconds AFTER that, we get our own personal blue lights twirling on our bootie...YES we did! I got pulled over! WOW...REALLY? Finishing fast, as I am so tired here...I had no clue what I did, so I am going to tell this story in one (no doubt run on) sentence.
I was speeding 58 in a 45 (not bad for me), had no insurance/registration paperwork at all to show him, gave him verbal previews of movie, and I got a warning. That's how I GOT OUT of my third and final drama event of the evening.
Now you know why I had to blog, smile at it all, and share!
Good night and Smile out!
